My write up on Kadian.
Jordan Castro's Kadian was published in early February 2012.
The poems develop a dirty photograph of a realistic and highly relatable young person struggling to find a balance between emotional integrity and deteriorating morals.
Castro's work in this chapbook is unlike anything he has shown before.
Kadian marks a turning point in Castro's development from a confused teenaged poet into a respectable, but still confused, grown-ass person on their way to becoming a cemented staple in the alternative literature world.

I don't care about celebrities, I don't watch TV, Im pretty bad about going to the movies, I only listen to the radio ironically, I don't know what's on the NYT bestseller's list, I don't know what movies are based on stephen king novels, I don't think I have ever read david sedaris but I could be wrong.
